What is GPO3?

This type of plastic is a blend of fiberglass with a polyester resin. The result is. a Material that offer excellent ark and track resistance. The various grades of GPO Materials are available in Sheet, rod, tube and shape forms. A particularly popular grade of GPO is GPO3. Certainly, many Technical departments specify this grade due to its high temperature Insulation capabilities. GPO3 is well liked for being a Material which can also be easily Machined to Bespoke applications. Insulating supports, high voltage Insulation, bus bar supports and mounting panels in electrical apparatus are just some examples of what GPO3 Materials are widely used to Manufacturers.

Applications of GPO

Based on the needs of its application, GPO is available in several grades. They are available in Sheet, rod, tube and shapes. Sheet thickness range from 0.8mm to 50mm. GPO-3 has a thermal index of 120°C electrical and 155°C mechanical. There are many advantages to using GPO3 Machining Materials. The main ones being that is highly flame resistant while also having excellent Electrically Insulating properties with very High strength. Raw GPO3 Materials are supplied to Sentinel in standard sheets sizes. It is also available in a varying selection of channels & angles. Sheet thickness range from 0.8mm to 50mm. Standard Colour – Available in Red and White.
